Environment Statement of 2020 now available
Every year, Doel and Tihange nuclear power stations publish environmental statements describing their environmental impact and the measures taken to assure safety, protect the environment, and guarantee the well-being of their staff.

The edition with our 2019 results and 2020 targets is now available. A number of projects were carried out to further reduce the impact of our power stations on the environment, such as the work concerning extending the lifetime of Doel 1, Doel 2 and Tihange, projects to reduce water and energy consumption, and waste reduction and waste management projects.
Since 1997, our environmental efforts and results have been objectively assessed under our ISO 14001 and EMAS certification. This double certification demands that our environmental results are completely transparent, and reflect our will to continuously improve.
